Horizons (UK) Ltd provides In-Service Training (INSET), courses and resources for teachers in primary schools and high schools across the U.K

The training courses and resources incorporate a 'hands on' approach to learning.

Training
Horizons courses are tailored to the needs of the school and can be delivered inhouse or at an outside venue. INSET for staff include brain gym, thinking skills and specific areas of the curriculum.  The training is pacy and lively, giving participants plenty of opportunity to try out the many practical ideas which they can then use with the children.

Resources
Horizons has a wide range of resources to improve teaching and learning. They include GCSE resources, Enterprise Education, Citizenship, Careers & Functional Skills. The resources come in various formats including books and CDs.

Horizons also works with various organisations writing resources for use with pupils, parents and volunteers in education.  Organisations have included, Learning & Skills Council, Aim Higher, Connexions,    The Princes Trust, Lancashire Education Business Partnership, Elevate and the Lancashire & Cumbria Enterprise Advisory Service.
