Horizons courses are innovative, pacy and lively with a 'hands on' approach. The courses give participants the opportunity to try out the many ideas which they can then use with the pupils to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Tailored to the needs of the school, they can be delivered to teachers, support staff and parents.

Horizons offers 1:1 support for teachers applying for jobs in education, including help with letter writing, CV and interview technique.

Horizons has a range of resources to improve teaching and learning. The resources come in various formats including books and CDs.

Customers

Horizons works with schools and organisations delivering training courses and writing resources for teachers, pupils, parents and volunteers in education.  Organisations have included Learning & Skills Council, Aim Higher, Connexions, The Princes Trust, Lancashire Education Business Partnership, Elevate and the Lancashire & Cumbria Enterprise Advisory Service. Horizons has worked with more than 150 schools across the NW of England.
